A long time since I wrote on this blog. So if you have read the last post, welcome back. I am engaged on an absorbing new project arising out of Bibeanna. The women of Bibeanna belong to a generation of Irish people of whom large numbers emigrated, many to America. So I have located a further group of women, in the cities of New York, Hartford Connecticut, and Springfield Massachusetts, and interviewed them for Bibeanna Part II.
They are magnificent. I will keep you posted on the appearance of the programmes, in the early Spring.
I am looking for further ladies, of Dingle origins, in Boston, Chicago, and any other East Coast regions. So if you know somebody, please let me know.
